 ChargingStage (hereinafter: “ChargingStage”, “we”, “us” or “our”) processes personal data as a data controller, as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

1. What personal data do we process? 

 We may process the following personal data: • Basic details such as your name, gender, job title, and company name • Contact details such as your email address, phone number, and postal address • Content you publish (such as news items, project descriptions, vacancies) • User data such as IP address, browser type, visited pages and click behaviour • Any other personal information you provide to us or that we collect in the context of your use of ChargingStage.

We collect your personal data: • when you register for a (free or paid) ChargingStage account • when you manage or update your profile page • when you contact us or publish information on the website • from public sources (such as the Chamber of Commerce), if relevant for verification.

We process personal data for the following purposes: • To create and manage your profile page • To display your involvement in projects, news, vacancies or events • To facilitate discoverability and connection between participants • To communicate updates, platform features, or sector developments • To improve the performance and content of our website • To process payments and send invoices ChargingStage does not organise its own events. Participants may add their own events to the platform. Any personal data related to such listings are published voluntarily by the participants themselves.

4. Legal basis for processing 

 We process your personal data on the basis of: • Your consent (e.g. during registration or when submitting content) • The performance of a contract (e.g. your network participation) • Our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the platform • Legal obligations (e.g. tax and administrative requirements) 

We only share your data when necessary, such as: • With third-party service providers who support our operations (e.g. hosting, email services) • With processors who act on our behalf under a data processing agreement If we work with providers outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. ChargingStage is not responsible for how other participants handle data you voluntarily submit on their profile or event pages. 

6. How long do we keep personal data? 

 We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless we are legally obliged to do so. You may request the deletion of your profile at any time by emailing info@chargingstage.com. 

7. Data security 

 We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. If you have any concerns about the security of your data, please contact us at info@chargingstage.com. 

You have the right to: • Access your data • Correct or delete your data • Restrict or object to data processing • Request data portability • Withdraw your consent at any time You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data is being mishandled.
